These are some of the many cool buildings we saw in the historic district of downtown Savannah, Ga. The old part of the city was layed out in a series of squares, not unlike the grid on the left. This makes for a wonderful area to walk around, with lots of green space, monuments, antebellum homes and terrific Savannah architecture to enjoy! Here's a small sampling.
