Years ago tons of cotton were exported through docks here,
now it's a fun pedestrian area.

We ate lunch here, including delicious crab cakes.

Great shipping vessels used to carry loads of cotton from here to London and elsewhere for manufacturing.

This bridge was built so high because the new port is on the other side. There are only a handful of ships in the world that cannot pass under.

Oh this was quite the place to sample praline everything, homemade fudge, taffy, and so many other sweets.
